Tyler picked up the guitar at the age of 12. After a year of lessons, he gave it up. At the age of 14 Tyler started listening to Nirvana and gave the guitar another chance. It first started out as just learning covers and jamming with friends until he joined a metal band by the name of "Legion" with school friends. This lasted about 2 1/2 years and then he started a band called "Hardcore Hobo" which was the beginnings of Giv'R as we know it.
