Tuesday voting begins for Power 97's Class of 2010. We need your support, sign up as a fan and vote for the band (hopefully us) that you would like to see win. There are tons of great bands we are up against. That's why Winnipeg is Freaking Great !! Tons of local talent that's waiting to be discovered. We have gone into Private Ear Recording Studio to cut a few tracks, we will be entering the Power 97 Class of 2010 before the end of the week. WIll keep you all posted on when that happens, cause there will be voting to happen in June. We will be getting the mastered copies of "Marmalade", Column B, and "Glimpse Of The Mind" before the end of the week.

Tons of great news everybody !

A) as a lot of you have heard, we have a new drummer. Darcy Swart has been drumming with us for about 6 months, and his active drumming style has fit right in so Giv'R can rock again !

B) being April again, the Kurt Cobain Tribute show is back ! And what a great lineup we have in store for you this year. The night will start with reflesh who are a 2 piece band including Dale who has played a few other past Cobain shows. Next will be Caulk who are a new 3 piece band, this will be their first show. Caulk includes me (Tyler) teamed up with Jason and Jeremy in a rockin' new band ready to deliver their sound to you all. Third is OutFromTheShadows which includes Mike Keller from Jet Set Satellite who will be delivering a taste of his new originals, some friends originals and some Nirvana greats. Of course Giv'R will be headlining the evening as per previous years. This years charity is the Klinic's Manitoba Suicide Prevention Hotline. So be sure to come out and support !

C) and last but not least....Giv'R is now Complete !!!! We are pleased to announce Daniel Cheung as our newest member to complete the Giv'R family. Daniel will fill the bassist position that we have had open for quite some time. He is very eager to play his first gig with us at the cobain 2010 show !
